It's been up for quite a while now and we've never had an issue with it. We had someone try to break in the backdoor and the lock prevented it. It ended up breaking the lock and they were going to charge us to come out and replace it, but since I made a police report on it, they went ahead and waived that. I called them out and the first person came out, took a couple of screws out, and then he left. So, I called and said, “Does that guy come back out? ” They said, “I don't know who that was.” So, they sent another person out, and he didn't know who that person was that just came out to take a couple of screws out.

Kitchen cabinets had hardware that was not installed straight. Damage to carpeting from the sliding closet doors rubbing on it. Kitchen floor damaged when stove was installed. Furnace is so loud when running we can't hear television in living room. Carpeting is so cheap we'll need to replace it within a year. Shower heads are so high they cannot be reached to adjust them.
This moisture has caused the floor boards to warp. It is now in all the living room, kitchen, laundry room, dining room, master bedroom and master bathroom. I tried hiring a lawyer, but they still didn't repair it. I have called them several times and havent gotten any response. The warping happened within 6 months of the home being delivered to my land. I can't believe they have not responded.

But the ecological part of it is more of a sticking point for me. I had them install sliding glass doors and the quality is amazing. Our moderators read all reviews to verify quality and helpfulness. We have repeatedly contacted Champion homes and the dealer we purchased the home through and they just ignore us. It will be very costly for us to fix as it requires the whole 2100 sq ft house have new flooring laid. They look horrible and we are at our wits end as to how to get them to fix the problem. There is a lot of shoddy workmanship all through the house but the floors is the biggest problem. I paid 1/2 down with cash back credit card and received cash discount and no extra charge. An appointment was made for a installer to come and check measurements for accuracy.
The outside company he sees it a lot in new homes where the a/c vents are in the ceiling, because they don't properly seal the a/c chase where it is connected to the floor. I just want them to fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again. I think it happened because they built the home in only 10 days. I own a Redman single wide that I had built in July 2015.
I'm going to bring a lawsuit against them also. There are enough people they have ripped off that a class action lawsuit could be filed i'm sure. Champion's salesperson helped me understand what my options were and also the work. What types of windows does Champion sell?
